Speed Limiter Off
It’s becoming increasingly popular for vehicles to be fitted with speed limiters from factory or by a third party. For example, German-manufactured cars have a factory-set speed limiter of 155 MPH.
By adjusting the vehicle’s ECU we are able to remove the speed limit from most vehicles. Please contact us with your vehicle details and location for further information.
Hotstart Fix
If a diesel engine starts easily and quickly when cold but struggles when hot, this is often described as a Hot Start Problem.
These types of diesel engines are started by an ECU and not by the driver, i.e. pressing the accelerator pedal has no effect during the start process. Starting an engine is controlled by a ‘starting map’ in the ECU and is based on the starter/engine speed (rpm) and injected fuel quantity (iq).

DTC Removal
Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) removal allows our clients to remove individual error codes from the ECU which may flag up on the dashboard, its usually when our clients want to remove some parts from the vehicle’s computer such as EGR, DPF, cats, AdBlue, Intake flaps, runner flap delete and any other parts that removed.
Swirl Flaps Off
Swirl flaps are small valves located within the inlet manifold on modern diesel and petrol engines and they’re designed to help regulate the fuel and air ratio, improve emissions and help generate better torque at low engine speeds.
When the engine is running the flaps close, causing the air to swirl into the combustion chamber, the swirling effect helps improve emissions and generates more torque. Roughly, after 2000 rpm the flaps are activated fully open position and have very little effect on engine performance or emissions.
Some of the common faults of failed swirl flaps can be the following: major mechanical failure, leaking manifolds, carbon build-up, and electronic actuators.
If you are experiencing any of the issues above a cost-effective way to fix these issues is to remove the swirl flaps. The process for removing the flaps depends on the vehicle, in most cases the manifold is unbolted and the slaps are physically removed, and the ECU is mapped to reflect these changes.
02/Lambda Off
If you have decatted a petrol vehicle, the engine management light may illuminate on the dash and a fault code for cat efficiency will be stored inside the ECU memory. By recalibration of the engine’s ECU data, we can disable the function of the second Lambda sensor.
Decatting a vehicle usually triggers a P0420 fault code, our Lambda delete service will remove this fault.
Maf Off
A MAF delete is normally required on tuned vehicles with the volume of air passing through the MAF housing causes the sensor to burn out or at its maximum operating range. If this is the case a burnout MAF will slowly reduce the engine performance and can cause the vehicle to enter into limp mode.
By carrying out a MAF delete remap we can disable the function of the MAF and allow the engine to run into a MAFless state.
TVA Off
TVA (throttle valve actuator) is a valve on the inlet manifold on diesel and petrol engines. A faulty TVA can result in the following symptoms: restless engine idling, clicking sound coming from the TVA, lower engine power, limp mode, MIL lamp and clogging of DPF.
A cost-effective to fix the problem is to deregister the TVA from the vehicle’s ECU, the engine will work efficiently without any lights, errors or limp modes. Also, the DPF will continue to perform its regeneration at the correct intervals.
Start/Stop Disable
Start/Stop technology is present on most modern vehicles nowadays, some people love it, and others hate it. For people who hate it, we have the perfect solution for you; a Start/Stop disable.
By changing the coding inside the ECU, we can fully deactivate the start/stop system, all the hardware can remain in place, it will simply be electronically disabled.
Hardcut Popcorn Limiter
The demand for popcorn limiters on diesel vehicles has increased over the years. A popcorn limiter changes the way a diesel car behaves when the engine hits the RPM limiter. A popcorn limiter will bounce at the limit in a similar way to a petrol vehicle.
There is no performance advantage to a popcorn limiter, it is just a feature that can be enabled during the remap in order to change how the engine behaves and sounds with the RPM limit is reached.
Petrol Pop and Bang
This feature can be programmed into the ECU on some petrol vehicles which results in a pop and bang or crackle noise coming from the exhaust system during deceleration.
This feature offer no performance advantages but does offer a different feel and noise.
